3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Disc 950U is an abrasive disc designed to deliver high performance in body-in-white applications. It’s powered by fast-cutting, long-lasting 3M Precision-Shaped Grain in a super-open-coat construction that resists loading with sanding swarf. The E-weight paper backing is specially designed for sanding metal.

Cuts Fast Without Loading
3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Disc 950U features 3M Precision-Shaped Grain, the revolutionary technology that continually fractures to create new sharp cutting points. This allows the disc to sustain an exceptionally high cut-rate throughout the life of the disc, and helps keep the substrate from overheating. These grains are spread across the disc in an open-coat orientation that reduces abrasive loading — a particular concern when sanding aluminum. All of these attributes combine to create an abrasive disc that cuts faster and lasts longer than the competition.

By combining science, strength and smoothness — from the grain to the back-up disc pad attachment — 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Disc 950U delivers a sharp, aggressive cut that leaves a consistent, uniform finish in panel sanding and frame sanding applications.

Hookit™ Attachment System
This disc is part of a complete 3M line of hook-and-loop style Hookit™ discs for work spaces where adhesive-backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt or flying debris. Hookit™ sanding discs conveniently and firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander, can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life.
