Long Service Life Under Extreme Conditions
3M™ Boron Carbide Blasting Nozzles are engineered for exceptionally long service life under demanding industrial conditions due to the high hardness of the boron carbide material. 3M boron carbide blasting nozzles excel even in applications using extremely hard abrasives such as corundum or silicon carbide. When costs per blasting time are compared, 3M boron carbide blasting nozzles may offer a more cost-effective alternative to nozzles made of silicon carbide or hard metal.

Standard Nozzles
The 3M boron carbide standard nozzle catalog covers a wide range of common application fields, giving you an easy-to-use solution to increase reliability, process stability and performance. We offer a variety of nozzle types, including side-firing, bow-nozzle and blast heads.

Venturi Nozzles
Venturi nozzles offer optimal removal rates due to a combination of high particle acceleration rates and low air consumption. Compared to standard straight blasting units, venturi nozzles are the best choice for large surface area preparation in painting and coating operations for the building and construction industries.

Fine Nozzles
3M boron carbide dental and fine jet nozzles are manufactured using an injection molding process. They are used for a variety of operations, including lapping of machine components, glass matting and engraving, and cleaning and modeling of dentures. For dental applications, we supply nozzles with internal diameters of 0.6 to 1.8 mm. Our experienced technical specialists will also work with you to develop custom solutions for your application requirements.
