The 3M ™ Cubitron ™ II Grinding Belts 947A are characterised by the familiar longevity and speed of the 3M ™ Cubitron ™ II products. They produce a uniform microsection without tarnish. The new grain mix on an X-fabric pad makes this tape more flexible than previous 3M ™ Cubitron ™ II sanding belts. They are especially suitable for hand-operated machines at medium to low pressure.

High-Quality Construction
3M™ Cubitron™ ll Cloth 947A is best suited for metal grinding and finishing thanks to its durability and fast-cutting abrasive material. The abrasive side features a closed coat of grains for aggressive grinding and finishing. It features both an anti-friction grinding aid and a resin coating, which help the abrasive run cool during low and moderate-pressure applications, and help prevent metal surface discoloration. The water-resistant, X-weight polyester cotton backing gives excellent strength and flexibility to the cloth. These attributes make 3M™ Cubitron™ ll Cloth 947A a good match for projects that require an equally durable and flexible abrasive.

The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Advantage
3M™ Cubitron™ II abrasive products have raised the bar for high-performing abrasives. Our engineers started with 3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Grain and used technology to electrostatically orient each triangular structure on the backing to form sharp peaks and maximize cutting potential. These peaks act like individual cutting tools that slice through metal, and continuously shelf-sharpen as the points break off, ensuring extended high performance in heavy-duty production applications. The grains wear evenly and provide extra-long life and consistency with less grinding pressure. The result is that 3M™ Cubitron™ II products out-cut and outlast every conventional ceramic industrial abrasive product on the market.
