Use 3M™ Ribbed Back Up Pad with 3M™ Cubitron™ II and 3M™ Cubitron™ III discs for improved disc cut and lifespan. Our pad features a unique rib pattern and is resistant to temperatures over 212° F (100°C). It helps to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

The 3M™ High Performance Ribbed Back-Up Pad helps you get the best cut rate and lifespan out of your abrasive discs during aggressive metal grinding and finishing applications. The ribbed pattern provides additional force for optimal fracturing of ceramic abrasive mineral, which helps the disc deliver more consistent results. By reducing contact area, the ribs also help direct and pull heat away from the disc, which helps to reduce heat buildup and prevent discoloration of metal surfaces.
