3M™ High Performance Depressed Centre Grinding Wheels are designed for everyday professional use on most common substrates. The lower half of our wheels have different colours to highlight which substrate they are designed for, making it easier to choose the right wheel. Please select the correct product for your specific application.
Our 3M™ High Performance Depressed Center Grinding Wheel features 3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Grain for high quality, fast cut and increased productivity and throughput. The specially-formulated ceramic grain cuts cool, which makes it a good match for heat-sensitive metals like stainless and mild steel.
We engineered our 3M™ High Performance Depressed Center Grinding Wheel as a Type 27 wheel, which means it has a depressed center. Type 27 grinding wheels should be used with an open-face grinding guard. The depressed center enables flanges or attachment systems to recess within the wheel. When depressed center wheels attach to the tool, attachment systems will not gouge the substrate or inhibit performance.
Some variations of our 3M™ High Performance Depressed Center Grinding Wheel are available with Quick Change attachments, which helps with rapid swap out of discs during a sequence.
