The 3M™ Versaflo Supplied Air System V-Series is a modular system which gives you the flexibility to tailor your air supplied system to your requirements, with the ability to change in the future. 3M™ Supplied Air Regulators offer protection against dust, mist, fumes, gases or vapours and combination hazards e.g. paint spray. Supplied Air Regulators do not offer protection in confined spaces, oxygen deficient atmospheres or for asbestos removal operations.
Get protection from dusts, mists, gases and vapours, or a combination of these hazards with the 3M™ Versaflo™ Supplied Air System, V-Series. Ideal for applications with low warning properties (taste or smell), supplied air systems connect to a breathable quality air source from a compressor via a breathing tube. The compressed air is regulated to a gentle flow and fed to the wearer. Please note, Supplied Air Systems must not be used in confined spaces or oxygen deficient atmospheres, contact 3M for information regarding Self Contained Breathing Apparatus. The 3M™ Versaflo™ V-Series is a modular system which connects to the 3M™ Versaflo range of headtops, allowing you the flexibility to change headtops and hoods depending upon the application. 3M™ Versaflo™ Regulators V-100E and V-200E allow users to either cool (V-100E) or heat (V-200E) the air by as much as 28°C, making them a good choice for workers exposed to uncomrtably hot or cold temperatures. 3M™ Versaflo Supplied Air Regulator V-500E is a balanced regulator specifically designed for respirator use and ensures a smooth delivery of airflow. It’s designed to consistently deliver the airflow level you set, from 170 l/min to 305 l/min. The active-carbon filter removes oil mists, water vapours or unpleasant, non-toxic odours from the air supply and the unit may also be used with 3M™ Aircare™ Filtration Units ACU-03 and ACU-04. The regulator has a locking control knob that allows airflow to be adjusted to your preference and an integrated warning whistle that indicates low air flow. An auxiliary port allows air tools – such as paint spray guns – to be connected to the regulator without affecting airflow to the headtop. The regulator unit can be positioned on the belt to accommodate right or left-handed users and the swivelling bayonet connector allows the breathing tube to move freely to the most comfortable position.
